Turbidex filter media has a wide range of effects. It is an anhydrous silicon oxide in granules with a developed filtration surface, which allows to achieve maximum results in the retention of suspended particles. Turbidex, like Filter Ag Plus, is used in pressurized and non-pressurized water treatment systems and provides a filtration fineness of 5-10 microns.
Compared to other backfills (for example, quartz sand), it has a number of advantages
- minimal pressure losses;
- low cost of equipment;
- high dirt capacity;
- low operating costs: reduced water consumption for backwashing (no high pressure is required), smaller area and energy consumption due to the high productivity of the material, and, as a result, there is no need for a large number of equipment;
- environmental friendliness and absence of harmful substances released into the water during use.
It is delivered to the consumer in 28.3 liter bags.
